Amanda Sladky
LPC (MS#3076)
Amanda is a Provisional-Licensed Professional Counselor working towards becoming fully licensed in the state of Mississippi under the supervision of Emily Jernigan, LPC-S.
She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi (Hotty Toddy!) and her Masters of Arts in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary. Before moving to Jackson, Miss. for graduate school, Amanda worked for Cru (a campus ministry) for three years on the Ole Miss campus. While living in Oxford, she also worked as the Administrative Assistant at Grace Bible Church of Oxford for two years.
Through receiving counseling in her own life, Amanda’s desire grew to sit with and serve those experiencing darkness, hardship, or hurt in their own life. She wants to utilize her life experience and education to walk alongside her clients as they uncover and develop their own internal resources.
Amanda has worked with a diverse population ranging from children to adults and has walked through many trials such as grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, life-transitions, relationship difficulties, and planning for the future. She desires to meet clients where they are with deep compassion, curiosity, and encouragement. She gravitates toward compassionate counseling approaches and evidence-based practices (Internal Family Systems, Cognitive-Behavioral, Person-Centered, attachment) that emphasize the worth and dignity of the client while seeking to provide practical strategies for managing emotions and interpersonal relationships.

Amanda grew up in Plano, Texas, but has lived in Mississippi since 2012. When she isn’t seeing clients, you could probably find her spending time with her goldendoodle, Dottie, or being a bonus “big sister” to three little girls. She also enjoys baking, swimming, traveling, and being competitive at game nights with her friends.
We were never meant to do it all alone. My hope is to walk alongside you as you explore your deepest or darkest parts while feeling safe, supported, and accepted. Book a Session
